Con este lanzamiento de 36 grabaciones esenciales, VP Records ya había rendido un digno homenaje a esta institución jamaicana en 2004; al fin y al cabo, Channel One fue el estudio número uno de la isla durante casi una década (1974-1984) y sus producciones tuvieron un impacto histórico equiparable al de Studio One y Treasure Isle en los años 60.
